Balancing various projects, businesses and hobbies isn’t an easy task. In fact, I’m not even sure if I have it sussed out.

I guess multi- tasking is a side effect to modern society, we hop from social media platform to platform, Facebook to Insta, back to Insta, Twitter and so on. We even brush our teeth whilst texting like it was nothing.

So, that makes me wonder if all millennials should be able to multi task and lead a healthy work-life balance?

As I’ve mentioned in previous blogs I love being busy, I love challenging myself and coming up with new ideas. However, time never feels like it’s enough, some days fly past so fast I don’t even know where to start. I called this blog “Balancing Life as an Entrepreneur” which includes me working a part-time job, running a business, working as a freelancer, creating my own video and blog content and yes, having a life!

I will admit that some weeks are easier than others: planning the week, scheduling posts, calls or creating and editing videos. Whilst other weeks are a total blur and I struggle to get my blogs written and camera out of its case.

My top tips to leading a healthier Work- Life balance: 

 

1. Try and plan your week ahead, use a diary!!! As simple as it sounds, writing things down, it will save a lot of confusion.

2. Watch less TV.

We all complain we don’t have enough time to get things done. If you are an avid Netflix watcher, then reduce your time doing that and get doing what needs to be done.

3. Remind yourself of what your goals are. Why are you doing this?

4. Exercise more.

It will help you de-stress, feel better and socialise with people, giving you a chance to relax for an hour or two.

5. Oh, and spend more time outdoors- it’s good for the soul!
